Audoux-Minet, Rattan chaise longue with red wheels, circa 1950, France

Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet were a French design duo known for their creations in wood and rope. Throughout the 1940s and 1950s, they produced a wide range of objects, furniture, and lighting, much of it intended to furnish the outdoor spaces of large villas. Their most iconic pieces were published by Vebo in Vesoul.

This rattan chaise longue with red wheels is typical of their work, designed to furnish both seaside villa exteriors and urban home interiors.
