Frog Sconce- Manufactory of Caldas Da Rainha, circa 1880

This very naturalistic  frog sconce  is a Portuguese ceramic attributed to the Manufacture of Caldas da Rainha. The colors are very realistic and the trompe l’oeil is successful. This frog sconce  can be hung on the wall or displayed in any room.
